Senior Designer
At Gravillis™, Senior Designers create motion picture and television advertising campaigns including Key Art, Billboards and
digital motion posters.
Primary Responsibilities
- Concept ideas for Key Art, outdoor and digital projects
- Build out final comps as directed by Art Director, Associate Creative Director and Chief Creative Director
- Build out-of-house mechanicals to the specification required by the client
- Assist Art Director to ensure that the project is completed at the standard of excellence required
- Mentor, encourage and guide the Junior Designers and Design Assistants, raising them to Designer status.
Requirements and Qualifications (Technical and Non-Technical)
- Minimum 4 years experience (or a portfolio that reflects equivalent experience)
- Expert in Adobe Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign
- Must have strong concept ability
- Must possess confidence, and enjoy being part of a tight-knit team
- Strong work ethic, dedication to quality and ability to deliver on a deadline
- Needs to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet unpredictable deadlines
- Needs to be able to take constructive criticism well
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Advertising or Graphic Design Preferred

GRAVILLIS INC INTERNSHIP/DESIGN ASSISTANT PROGRAM
Culture
Gravillis Inc., a boutique graphic design studio based in Los Angeles, is currently looking for a few stellar interns/design
assistants for our upcoming session.
Our design assistants are embraced as staff and are vital contributors to the company’s pursuit of pushing
boundaries. Current and recently-graduated students get a full immersion into our culture, which thrives off of hunger,
originality, and good design. Design Assistants interact with our Creative Directors, Art Directors, Project Managers,
and Designers to build relationships and skills. Our Design Assistants not only offer a fresh perspective to our design
process; they also push their own boundaries in creativity, teamwork and personal growth.
We are fortunate to work on many projects of various sizes and nearly every genre. There is always something going
on, something to be done, and plenty of opportunities to expand your understanding of entertainment advertising.
We generally hire design assistants for a 6-12 month period and are flexible with hours/days to accommodate school
schedules. If our assistants shine in their role, they are offered a junior designer position, upon graduation or before
the end of their 6-12 month program -- we have a great history of promoting from within!
Responsibilities:
- Production – boards, proofs, binders, deliverables, ...
- Supporting the design and administrative team
- Maintaining the studio – coffee, printers, ...
- Runs – studio deliveries, market, office supplies, art supplies, prop shops, ...

What you need to know about the position:
- Paid, $15.00 /hr (starting July 2020).
- Minimum of 30 hours per week is preferred
- Minimum of 6 month commitment is preferred
What we need from you:
- The ability to live in or relocate to the LA area (We do not provide relocation assistance)
- A reliable car (your mileage will be reimbursed each month)
- A resume that outlines your experience and portfolio that shows off your best work
- Complete our Gravillis Challenge - Pick a couple of your favorite movies and/or TV Shows and create your own original posters using predominantly photography + graphic design elements (without completely abandoning your own sense of style).
